A: BOC Online Banking (corporate service) provides you with the following services:
1. Account management: acquire real-time account information, monitor the funds movements, download account information from time to time, and print electronic receipt via Internet.
2. Fund Transfer: provide you with secure, stable, convenient and expedite fund remittance, transfer, payment and settlement services, and enables you to achieve flexible allocation, efficient operation and real-time monitoring of funds by means of convenient operational process, secure transfer, authorization setting, interface- friendly setting, sufficient user communications and convenient E-mail notice.
3. Payment to designated account: provide you with fund transfer to and settlement with designated payee’s account, in order to strictly control and enhance the security of fund flow.
4. Third-party custody (institutional investors) service: provide institutional investors with fund transfer between and inquiry about banking settlement accounts and margin accounts of securities companies, making your investment timely and convenient and guaranteeing your fund security.

Operation
Do the operators of our company need to be familiar with computer knowledge?
A: No, it does not need. Online banking products are easy to be operated, and have no specific requirements on the computer knowledge of customers’ operators.
Is there English version of BOC Online Banking (corporate service)?
A: Yes, there is. Click “English Version” on the page of online banking and enter the English version of page to operate.
Can I access the BOC Online Banking (corporate service) in business trip?
A: Yes, you can. BOC Online Banking system adopts the browser/server (B/S) mode based on LAN, and the customer terminal does not need dedicated software. The user may access the BOC Online Banking by connecting the internet and visiting BOC website by browser; thereby we ensure the customers’ access to the online banking product series is not limited to the place.
Is the access to the BOC Online Banking (corporate service) limited to the business hours of the bank?
A: the user may submit payment and account transfer instructions to the online banking system at any time, but the handling time of related transactions is decided by the back office business system. It is currently the same as the business hours.

Registration
What qualifications are required for a user to apply for BOC Online Banking (corporate service)?
A: Any corporate customer with good credit standing and having opened deposit account with BOC and its branch offices may apply to a local office of BOC for Online banking service.
How to apply for Online banking services?
A: A corporate customer may apply for online banking services for its own account by the following two steps:
(1) You should complete the BOC Online Banking (corporate service) application form as required, and sign a service agreement with relevant branch (i.e. the branch with which your company opens account).
(2) The branch reviews the application form and maintains the system if there is no error contained in the form, and issue an E-Token or USB-Key, initial username and password to you.
How to modify the application information?
A: If you need to add, delete, or modify any part of the service application, or disuse the Online banking services, you should fill up relevant forms, and specify the contents to be added, deleted or modified in the column of “remark”, and maintain it after it is verified and approved by the original handling department.
If the company changes its legal representative, does it need to apply for the online banking services again?
A: No, the company does not need to apply for the services again, but it should carry out routine information filing at the counter.
If the company’s seal and signature(s) on the Bank Signature Card change, does the user need to modify the application form?
A: No, it does not need. What the user needs to do is to modify the registration at counter of the account bank.
I once applied for BOC Online Banking (corporate service) but cancelled it later. Now I want to apply for it again, what materials should I submit?
A: You should fill up the complete set of customer information according to the procedures for a new application.
Logon
What hardware units are needed for using BOC Online Banking (corporate service)?
A: You only need a PC that has access to Internet.
What software environment is necessary apart from the hardware units?
A:?You need to have an operation system of Windows 2000 or Windows XP(32-digit) or Windows Vista(32-digit); Internet Explorer version 5.5-7.5.
Security Mechanism (Corporate Service)
Please give a brief introduction to the security mechanism of BOC Online Banking (corporate service)
A: The security mechanism is reflected in the following aspects:
Secure authentication method: the user may select the E-Token or USB-Key as its security authentication tool based on its specific needs. Meanwhile, key transactions should be authenticated by the second factor.
User ID and password: every user has a set of sound customer information management mechanism, and logs on with his/her own user name and password.
BOC E-Message SMS notification: when the online banking system is logged on, the password is modified, or the system is locked up due to password input error, a SMS notice will be automatically sent to the mobile phone designated by the customer according to his/her setting.
Strict hierarchical management: it provides a financial management system, including entrustment and authorization, in line with the requirements of enterprises on financial management.
Strict function privilege restriction: every operator is subject to strict service function restriction according to his/her role.
Strict account limit restriction: every account may have a strict single or daily accumulated payment limit restrictions.
E-mail notification of transaction results: according to the transaction results and customer’s setting, BOC will send payment notice and collection notice e-mails respectively to you and the payee.
Please give a brief introduction to the E-Token.
A: E-Token is an electronic device with embedded battery, password generation chip and display screen, which automatically updates dynamic passwords on a regular basis according to specific computing method. The system based on the dynamic password technique is also known as One-Time-Pad (OTP) system, i.e. the identity password of user is changing, and one password will cease to be in force if it has been used one time, and at the next time the logon password will be a different one. As an important two-factor authentication tool, E-Token is widely used in security certification. E-Token may greatly enhance the logon and transaction security of online banking.
Please give a brief introduction to the advantages of E-Token.
A: E-Token is not only secure but also convenient. E-Token, also known as OTP system, updates password once every 60 seconds, and has the advantages that every password is used only one time in course of authentication and will be changed in the next authentication, so that lawbreakers are unlikely to pass themselves off as legal users and that the users do not need to remember the password. The use of E-Token is quite simple without installation of driver. The 6-digit dynamic password is displayed in number. The user may key in the dynamic password displayed in the E-Token according to the prompt of online banking system.
Please give a brief introduction to the security mechanism of USB-Key used in online banking of BOC.
A: BOC adopts dual-certificate (encryption certificate/signature certificate) and dual center (certification center and key center) mechanism centering on CA certification, and takes all-directional security means to ensure the security of transactions handled by online banking users. BOC adopts international standard encryption algorithm to ensure the online banking transactions are undeniable, exclusive, confidential and complete. BOC utilizes USB-Key to encrypt and store the USB-key and related key, so as to prevent digital certificate from being stolen, and strictly authenticates identity of online banking users and BOC Online Banking website by user password, image validation code and USB-Key, in order to guarantee the legality of the identity of users and BOC corporate Online Banking website.
Please give a brief introduction to the advantages of USB-Key.
A: BOC online banking adopts driver-free USB-Key to encrypt and store digital certificate and related key of the users. When enabling online banking services for a customer, the operating outlet will notify the customer of the information about downloading related certificate, and customer may easily download the certificate by himself/herself without installation of any driver program for the USB-Key.
What is the update frequency of dynamic password and how many numbers does a password have?
A: Dynamic password is updated once every 60 seconds with a length of six digits.
How long is the effective period of an E-Token? How to deal with an E-Token that has passed its expiration date?
A: The effective period of an E-Token is three years starting the ex-factory date (The expiration date is shown on the back of E-Token). The E-Token will be no longer in force upon expiration.
What is the relation between E-Token and user?
A: Every E-Token has a sole serial number (marked on the back of E-Token). When a user applies for the E-Token, BOC will establish an exclusive coincidence relation between E-Token and user name, certificate type and certificate number.
How to apply for E-Token?
A: Users may carry their effective identity certificates (corporate customers need to provide organization registration code certificates and application) to apply for E-Token at the outlets designated by BOC and pay relevant fees. Upon review and approval, BOC will issue E-Token to users.
Why the E-Token is locked up? How to deal with it?
A: When a user logs on or verifies transactions by dynamic passwords, if failing in verification for 10 successive times, the system will automatically lock up the E-Token of the user and refuse the user’s logon in order to prevent your E-Token from being maliciously tried and protect your fund security. Thereafter, in case the E-Token is locked up, the user can not log on even he/she keys in the correct password and will be advised the lockup information when logging on the online banking. After the E-Token is locked up, the user shall fill in the application form, and carry valid identity certificate and E-Token (and a power of attorney if not personally) to unlock the E-Token at an outlet of BOC.
How to report loss of, cancel the loss reporting of and renew the E-Token?
A: In case of loss of the E-Token, the user shall fill in an application form, and carry his/her valid identity certificates (and a power of attorney if not personally) to report loss of the E-Token to any outlet designated by BOC. Handling of loss reporting: BOC will suspend the E-Token and disallow its access to online banking system. After the loss reporting, the user may renew the E-Token or cancel the loss reporting, after which the original E-Token will be in force again without applying for a new E-Token. If the user needs to renew the E-Token, he/she shall fill in an application form, and carry his/her valid identity certificates to apply for a new E-Token at an outlet designated by BOC after paying related fees. If the user needs to cancel the los reporting, he/she shall fill in an application form and carry valid identity certificates (and a power of attorney if not personally) and the relevant E-Token to handle it at any outlet designated by BOC.
Account Management (Corporate Service)
What services can the “Account Management” provide for enterprises?
A: “Account Management” has the features of inquiry about today’s balance, today’s transactions, historical balance and historical transactions, with which you can inquire about and download, from time to time, the book balance and real-time effective balance, total debit and credit transactions today, daily balance and all transaction information within one year of your local and foreign currency accounts opened with a branch office of BOC. This information helps you understand the fund status and flow of your company, make decisions on corporate cash management and fund allocation, improve the fund use efficiency and save fund costs to the maximum.
I want to save the inquired transaction information in my PC, what can I do?
A: You only need to click “Download” on the page of inquiry results list.
Can the information contained in the downloaded data and documents serve as effective accounting voucher?
A: No. The function “Data Download” provides only information services, and you are privileged to download and process information according to your needs, in order to enhance the automated financial management of enterprise. BOC will provide you with effective accounting voucher in the form of written receipts.
How long can the historical balance and historical transactions information of an account be stored in the onternet banking system?
A: We will provide you with historical balance and transaction information of the past one year, with an inquiry time span of three months. It is suggested that you download and save the historical data in your PC.
When I inquire about the historical balance and transaction information, the system prompts “Qualified transaction is unavailable, please define the inquiry conditions again” or “Historical balance information is not available”, why?
A: The reason is possibly that no transaction occurs on the day, or transactions occur but a mistake happens when the back office system of BOC Online Banking uploads the customer’s historical information and leads to the inability to inquire about the historical information. Then, please contact the local branch office with which you opened the account and inform it of the date and account number that your fail to inquire about, and the branch office then will forward the issue to the provincial branch or the Head Office for solutions.
Fund Transfer (Corporate Service)
What functions does the “Customer Application Number” have on the page of building a new entrustment?
A: “Customer Application Number” is a big journal number that online banking system automatically generates for a transaction, and serves as the sole symbol of a transaction in BOC Online Banking system.
What functions does the “Customer Transaction Number” have? How can I fill in it?
A: “Customer Transaction Number” has two major functions: first, it can prevent a transaction from being submitted repeatedly as a result of operation mistake; second, it facilitates customers’ inquiries. In case any repeated submission is found, the entrustment will be denied and the system will prompt the error message.
If a workday in the future is scheduled as the payment date, do I need to process the transaction on the expiration date?
A: No. Online banking system will automatically process the transaction on the payment date (workday) designated by you according to the payment instruction submitted by you.
If my entrustment is rejected by the bank, can I submit it once again?
A: No, you can not submit the transaction again. In this case, you need to establish another entrustment.
In case of misoperation of a transaction that has been successfully submitted, do I need to inform the bank?
A: If the payment date is set at a day in the future, you may cancel the transaction by yourself via the function “Cancellation”; if the designated payment date is today, and you need to contact the account bank as the transaction is under processing by the bank. But transactions of automatic processing are unable to be cancelled.

What is the “Latest Banking Institution Number Form”?
A: The “Latest Banking Institution Number Form”, namely the latest inter-branch institution form of BOC, can be downloaded and viewed. With the form, you may understand the name of each outlet of BOC, its referential number, institution number, name of higher-level branch, referential number of higher-level branch, institution number of higher-level branch and such other information, thereby facilitating your access to the online banking services.
What is the “Latest CNAPS Bank Code Form”?
A: CNAPS Bank Code is the code of bank institutions developed and published by the People's Bank of China and used in fund transfer and clearing between different banks. When you transfer funds from between banks, you may inquire and select the CNAPS codes of the payee’s account opening banks, so that the system can rapidly and automatically process your transaction instruction.
What is the main role of batch entrustment tool?
A: We provide you with three kinds maintenance tools: payees batch maintenance, fund transfer batch entrustment and payment and collection batch entrustment, to satisfy convenient and quick operation needs of corporations which have lots of business on payees batch maintenance, fund transfer and salary payment. According to each tool’s detailed instruction, you can complete sorts of operations, including batch files maintenance, saving and uploading to system, etc., to avoiding the trouble in maintaining transaction records one by one.
BOC E-Message (Corporate Service)
What are the BOC E-Message services? Do I need to apply for it separately?
A: The BOC E-Message services provided by BOC online banking system mainly include SMS notification when a customer logs on the system, modifies password or uses wrong password, or when the system is locked up. BOC online banking system also provides the sharing service for the BOC E-Message services, i.e. a customer may set the services according to his/her needs after he/she successfully applies for the services and logs on the system. After completion of the setting, the system will send the notice according to your customization, in order to ensure the security of online banking services for you.
Service Settings (Corporate Service)
Welcome Message
What is welcome message? What is the use of the welcome message?
A: The “Welcome Message” reserved by you is a simple and effective method to enhance your ability in distinguishing false websites. After you customize the “Welcome Message”, it will display on the welcome page every time when you log on. If a website fails to correctly display the welcome message reserved by you, it means the website is not that of BOC, and you must exit immediately and contact with the customer service center of BOC.
Modification of Password
How to modify my logon password?
A: You may modify your logon password by the function “Modify Password”.
What should I do if I forget the password?
A: If you forget your password, you must report it to the local online banking service department. You may issue an official letter to apply for resetting the password if the password has not been used; otherwise, you need to fill up relevant application forms, affix seal on them as required, and then submit them to the bank for password resetting.
Payee management
Should I maintain the payee account information before submitting payment instruction every time?
A: No, you should not. Once you maintain the payee account information, it will be saved in the system permanently if you do not delete it. When you submit a single payment instruction thereafter, you may select or inquire about the selection by the drop-down menu, thereby preventing repeated key-in of the payee account information and reducing the possibility of mistakes.
How to modify or delete the payee information?
A: You may modify or delete the payee information on the page of payee list. The detailed procedures are as follows:
(1) Click “Payee Inquiry”.
(2) Type in basic information of the records to be modified or deleted on the payee inquiry page, in order to narrow the scope of search.
(3) Click “Submit” after completing the type-in, and enter the page of payee list.
(4) Select the records to be modified or deleted on the page, and click “Modify” or “Delete”.
Payment & Collection (Corporate Service)
Which services can be offered by the “Payment & Collection” function”?
A: “Payment & Collection” function” include two kind services: payroll management and other agent services. The corporation can pay legal fund permitted by Central Bank including salary, bonus, etc,, from the company’s settlement bank account to stuff’s personal settlement bank account.
Why are “batch details inquiry” and “single details inquiry” serperated in “payroll”?
A: As most of companies hope that only HR Stuff can manage personal wage distribution details, and financial stuff are only responsible for whole fund distribution, therefore, two functions are separated in the design of the product. Depending on the company’s need, it can use different inquiry functions by different people.
How should batch entrustment tools of “payroll” be used?
A: After you download batch entrustment tools to your computer, please open files and you can see two working sheets, “instruction” and “Payment and Collection”, then you just need to follow “instruction” , and you can maintain your data conveniently and efficiently.
