Applicable Entities

All customers who are using e-banking services and UnionPay debit card issued by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (BOC). BOC Bank employees and UnionPay employees (including family members) are not eligible to participate in this program.

Program Content

a. During the program, customers who process transactions through e-banking or payment transactions through POS channel with total transaction value and the number of transactions fulfill the requirements as below will be eligible to join the program:

Prize Winning conditions
Special Prize Customers who complete 80 transactions and above from e-banking channels with total accumulated transaction value up to VND 400,000,000 (four hundred million VND).

Or

Customers who complete 80 POS payment transactions with total accumulated transaction value up to 400,000,000 VND (four hundred million VND).

First prize Customers who complete 60 transactions and above via e-banking channels with total accumulated transaction value up to VND 300,000,000 (three hundred million VND).

Or

Customers who complete 60 via POS payment transactions with total accumulated transaction value up to 300,000,000 VND (three hundred million VND).

Second prize Customers who complete 40 transactions and above via e-banking channels with total accumulated transaction value up to VND 200,000,000 (two hundred million VND).

Or

Customers who complete 40 via POS payment transactions with total accumulated transaction value up to 200,000,000 VND (two hundred million VND).

Third Prize Customers who complete 20 transactions and above via e-banking channels with total accumulated transaction value up to VND 100,000,000 (one hundred million VND).

Or

Customers who complete 20 via POS payment transactions with total accumulated transaction value up to 100,000,000 VND (one hundred million VND).


b. Eligible transactions for the program are successful money transfers via E-Banking Service; The payment transaction for the purchase of legal goods and services by UnionPay Debit card issued by BOC and successfully debited on the BOC system and not in the case of invalid transactions specified at Point c This item.

c. Invalid transaction

- Transactions that have not been successfully debited on BOC's e-banking system;

- Transactions have disputes, transactions are canceled or automatically refunded (void/reversal) due to system error or canceled by a Third party;

- Transactions with suspicion or signs of crime or fraud, illegal profiteering or transactions according to BOC's own assessment are not in compliance with Vietnamese laws;

- Other cases according to BOC's policy from time to time.

d. UnionPay debit cardholders issued by BOC must ensure that they are always eligible to receive incentives according to the following criteria: Cardholders do not violate the terms and conditions of card use, the card is not in an expired state, do not cancel the card, do not lock the card at the time of the Program.

Program Terms and Conditions

Customers participating in the Program agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and continue to be bound by such Program-related regulations or directives as BOC may amend from time to time.

  1. Customers transactions from e-banking channels and card payment via POS payment are counted from 00:00 on 1st Oct 2022 to 23:59 on 31st Dec 2022. BOC does not deal with customer complaints about transactions outside of the above mentioned time period.
    • The organization of a promotion program must ensure fairness, transparency and objectivity. Depending on the number of gifts of the Program, in case there are many customers who meet the same conditions to receive the same gift, the customer with the higher total accumulated transaction value will win the prize; If the total number of transactions and the total accumulated transaction value are equal, the customer who has the earliest completion the number of transactions will win the prize; Upon all customers meet the above conditions, the prize will be awarded to the earliest customer who achieve the total accumulated transaction value.
    • If the customer meets all the above-mentioned winning conditions, only one prize will be given to one customer from the program.
  2. Promotion program requirement, list of winners will be posted by BOC on the bank's official website: https://www.bankofchina.com.vn. In addition, BOC is responsible for contacting and notifying the winners. In case, customers change personal information (email address, contact phone number, residential address) and do not update with the bank, or in case of any announcement from BOC are be regarded SPAM by Mobile Provider, BOC would not take any responsibilities for the account holder who does not receive the announcement of winning prize from the program.

    Within 30 days from the date customers receives the notice first time award announcement from BOC customers must receive the prize. BOC will not settle any claim regarding the receipt of a Gift after the expiration of the above-mentioned Gift-receiving period or after the Customer has received the Gift.

  3. Prizes are non-exchangeable for cash or other gift items.
  4. BOC is not the supplier or carrier of the items used as prizes in the Program. These products and services are provided by their respective suppliers on terms and conditions specified by such supplier, and BOC assumes no liability whatsoever in connection with such products and services. There, when using the product, the winning customer is deemed to agree to be bound by the terms of the product supplier. Any dispute or question that occurs between the customer and the product supplier is not related to BOC.

    In addition, such products and services are not certified by BOC. The inclusion of any product or service in this Program shall not be construed as endorsing or recommending such product or service by BOC.

  5. Customers receiving gifts are responsible for paying taxes and other fees incurred by customers on installation, transportation from suppliers or in accordance with law (if any).
  6. Any transaction that BOC suspects to be an invalid transaction will be excluded from the program's reward list. BOC has the right to request the Account Holder to provide financial invoices, necessary information and documents to ensure that the customers’ transactions are valid in accordance with applicable laws.
  7. Any dispute arising during the implementation of the program will be resolved through negotiation or conciliation between BOC and the customer. If any party disagrees or the negotiation fails, arbitration proceedings will be conducted in accordance with the laws of Vietnam.

    Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be settled by arbitration at the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of this Center and the provisions of law’s Vietnam. The place of dispute resolution is in Ho Chi Minh City, the language of dispute resolution is Vietnamese. The competent court for arbitration is the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City. The losing party will have to bear the arbitration fees and attorney's fees. The arbitral award is binding on the parties. During the time when the Arbitrator has not made the award, the parties must continue to perform their obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the provisions of the Program Participation Rules.

  8. All rights to explain Terms and Conditions in this article shall be BOC’s exclusive interest. Should there be any questions in respect of the Term and Conditions, please contact our customer service via (848) 38219949 Ext.155 for further information.
  9. All Terms and Conditions are available in Vietnamese, English, and Chinese. In case of any discrepancy or inconsistency amongst the languages, the Vietnamese version shall prevail.
